Kevin Aaron Matt NateThe formation of the nerd's rock quartet takes place as follows: (Spring of 2000) - Matt gets bored. He wishes to rock. "Hmmm," he said, "Kevin is a rock star so I will ask him if he wants to rock too." Kevin takes time out of Ever-crack to rock with Matt...and there was much rejoicing. Matt wants another sucker, I mean rocker, so he forces Nate (who was currently playing bass, for a band out of Big Rapids) to buy a guitar and an amp and join his rock quartet. So now Matt needs some phat beats to complete his rock. So then Matt asks his friend Aaron, "Who gots the beat?," and Aaron replied, "It's me, it's me!". The band started out as Kung Fu Kenobi, they played a few shows in the beginning of the summer. Then as for the name, they said, "Fuck that!" So they got rid of the "Kung Fu". Yeah summer was fun, blah blah. They wrote some songs, played some instruments, and seemed to follow Hoodwink around like a bad habit. School came, more songs were written, more instruments were played, and The Kenobis still followed Hoodwink around like a bad habit, but a little less. So go see these guys live. I've heard the mp3s and they suck compared to hearing these assholes live! They can really rock the Casbah even better than The Clash! Well, maybe... - Flamboyant Roy |
